The Prophecies of Nostradamus

So many times, Nostradamus prophecy and predictions have been translated to have been correct. The obscure wording of the famous four line verses is said to have been purposefully created to protect his books from being destroyed at the hands of the government in his time. The 16th century was a perilous time, if you didn’t fall in with the status quo.
From the verses recorded by Nostradamus centuries ago, we have found that his prediction of Napoleon and Hitler have rung true. These are the first two of the famous three Anti-Christs it is said that Nostradamus prophecy shows the Earth must bear the brunt of. As each is worse than the predecessor, it takes not much genius to grasp the idea that the last will not be the least horrifying. To discover the truth with out any doubts whatsoever, humanity will just have to wait until Mabus, first the solution man to a world out of control, shows his true and ugly colors to global society.
Century 3, Quatrain 46
The sky… we presage,
Through clear sign and by fixed stars;
Suddenly the age of change approaches,
Neither for it good, nor for its evils.
The History channel asks, “Does Nostradamus prophecy, in the Lost Book, foretell of a cosmic event that causes earthly havoc? In the alignment show triggers such global destruction, pinpointing its occurrence is of vast urgency.”
The documentary points out a planetary alignment said to be found among the watercolors in this now famous book. This reported alignment alluded to by Nostradamus will take place in our solar system to bring about the catastrophic collision of a heavenly body with Earth. He also warns us of World War II following upon the heels of Mabus, the blue turbaned Anti-Christ, showing his face. There are also the often echoed predictions of famine and drought, disease and pestilence along with natural disasters like earthquakes and volcanoes.
Decrying the notion that Nostradamus prophecy coincides with the Mayan calendar date for the end of our current time, a sun or world of man, may not be the smartest conclusion to adopt. It would be especially wonderful if nothing at all catastrophic happened between today and December 21, 2012. No one wants to accept the idea that the end of the world will take place. It is perfectly human to take the stance that the entire 2012 thing and Nostradamus predictions are just another Y2K.
The problem with that concept is that Y2K was a simple, manmade computer glitch and not some profound Nostradamus prophecy or the end of the Mayan and Cherokee calendar. In the days before the Gregorian calendar clicked over to January 1st, 2000, there were no Hindu, Dogon or Hopi legends and prophetic texts set to unfold before our eyes. 2012 is far more than just ancient cultures and a seer with mystic visions who lived half a millennium ago.
No matter what we would like or want to believe about what will happen in 2012, the universe will decide what comes to pass. No one on Earth can control what the Universe ultimately sees fit to do with the mess on this planet. Preparing for Nostradamus prophecy or any other predictions to take place would be more farsighted than the known alternatives present. There are no guarantees, one way or the other, beyond taxes and death. No matter what science has to say about it, because no profession has any control over the ultimate powers that be.
